Mother Moon Pads Review and GIVEAWAY!!!

FINALLY, I was able to "test" and review one of her pantyliner (with a nursing baby, it took a little longer for the "need" to arise than I thought). I'll try to keep this review as not-gross as possible!

MotherMoonPads are reusable cloth menstrual pads that come in lengths from 6 inches to 14 inches. They are made from a wonderfully soft fabric and are available in a variety of absorbency.

I had the pleasure of testing a pantyliner. I used this in conjunction with a normal tampon. I have always been a little weary of mamacloth. I'm okay cleaning poop and pee in Owen's cloth diapers, but when it comes to blood (even my own) I get a little queasy.

I was afraid I would have to "touch" blood but was wonderfully surprised at home absorbent the material was. It never felt damp or wet. I never had any issue with leakage or getting my hands dirty. Now, because I only had 1 to test, I did have to wash it a few times over the course of a week. Let me tell you---it held up great. As would be expected, the fleece pilled a little bit, but it stayed just as soft as day one. And just as absorbent. The material is surged all the way around so there was no fraying!

One of my favorite parts is the variety of patterns and colors then come in. Let's face it....getting your period isn't any fun. AT. ALL. So why not make it a little more fun by "dressing" up your feminine care, right?

But my FAVORITE part? The kind and friendly mama that makes these! I had the pleasure of meeting her at a local cloth diaper store and she's wonderful. She handmakes all of her products out of her house in Neenah, WI!

I would definitely recommend trying a Mother Moon Pad! Even if you just try a pantyliner to get started, I think you will really enjoy the product and how easy it is to use and keep clean. Especially if you're already cloth diapering!
