My little man turned one last Thursday. We had his party on Saturday. It was perfect. Just a small party with family and close friends. I didn't spend all morning cooking as I only prepared snacks this time. It lasted about 2 hours so nobody got overloaded. He received some small gifts but mostly money which is okay for us and our limited storage space (not to mention the load of toys we have already).
