All is well

My surgery went well. The recovery took longer than I thought but I'm feeling pretty good now. I made the mistake of reading the pamphlet they gave me on what they did during the surgery so I was a lot more nervous than I would have anticipated.

Did you know they literally fill your body with air to use the scope? Like a big skin balloon. And then some of the air stays trapped and puts MAJOR pressure on your nerves. The pain in my shoulders was almost unbearable. Took 3 days before it finally went away.

I'm happy it's over and hoping it helps with the pain.

On top of that, I have a party to plan this weekend!!! My little Owen turns one on Thursday and we're having his party on Saturday. I really can't  believe he's going to be one already. It just amazes me how time is just flying by. He's getting so big---starting to use his spoon, standing on his own, cruising the furniture. What happened to my baby?
