Bum Genius AIO Review and Giveaway!

With the recent free BG AIO coupon offered by cottonbabies.com, I've had the opportunity to test a type of diaper I would have otherwise never bought. I guess that's the point of the coupon!

I assumed AIOs would be bulky, not as absorbent and take forever to dry. I was quite surprised when I tried the BG AIO!

I think one of the best features of the BG AIO is the option of stuffing it with an extra insert. I didn't need any extra insert for daytime although I would image you'd need something for nighttime use.

My first day using this diaper was a poop-filled day indeed! The AIO washed out quite well, even with the brightest colored poop. I was also able to dry it within the normal 50 minutes on medium that I use for my BG pockets.

I also find the BG AIO to be quite absorbent as well. My only complaint is that I like to fold my insert in my BG pocket so that my little man has extra absorbency in the front, and the AIO doesn't allow this. I did notice more moisture in the top waist area although nothing actually leaked.

Overall, I'd give the BG AIO a 7 out of 10. A great option for mamas looking for something easier than a prefold/cover and who doesn't like the extra time associated with stuffing pockets.

To celebrate my new found appreciation for AIO's, I'm offering a free BG AIO to you! It's a size large (fits 22-30 lbs) in a gender neutral color. Here's how to enter:

  31. I love my bumgenius diapers. A small pink AIO was my first cloth diaper purchase and I loved it the first time DD wore it. Their sized diapers are SUPER trim compared to other diapers. Plus, I've never had a leak in a BG.

  32. I LOVE the AIO for how easy it is for newbie's to use. The grandparents have no trouble putting them on and having a leak free day with their grandson! :D

  41. I think these would be great for when I need to leave my son in the nursery at church. For some reason the ladies who work there avoid cloth diapers, and thus don't change my son's diaper. Hopefully something simple like this would help them see that cloth diapering is not as difficult as they fear.

  42. I have always done disposable diapers, but have had a few friends tell me about BumGenius and how easy they are to use. We are pregnant with our 3rd child, and I definitely want to use these diapers. This would be nice since they're a bit out of my price range at the moment.
